Where and When?

On Tuesday 17th March 2026 the Churchill Gowns team will be coming to the Imperial College campus to help Imperial students get graduation ready. You can find us in Metric Bar between 10am and 5pm!

What's in Store?

• Exclusive discounts! For one day only we'll be offering exclusive discounts on rentals and purchases of Imperial College gown sets
• Sizing service! Our team will be on hand to take your height and head measurements so you can be sure your cap and gown will be the perfect fit
• Try on your gown! We will have the full array of Imperial gowns, caps and hoods with us so you can see what your gown will look like and give it a try
  
• Place an order! We will be taking hire pre-bookings for 2026 ceremonies or you can buy your gown and take it away same day

FAQs

Which styles of gowns will you have available?

We will have the full range of Imperial gowns, caps and hoods, from undergraduate all the way through to doctoral gowns. However our sale stock will be limited on the day, so visit early if you're hoping to purchase a gown set to take away with you.

What type of payment will you accept?

We will be accepting cash and card payments.

What if I don't yet know if I've passed the course?

No problem! You can still make a provisional hire booking to lock in our discounted on the day price. If you need to cancel the booking or update the ceremony date you can contact us to do this at any time before the order is dispatched later in the year.

If I attend the event do I have to place an order?

Abosultely not - just come down to ask the team any questions you may have, see what your gown will look like and get your measurements done. Then you will have all the information you need, ready to place an order when the time comes.

I can't make that day, will you be coming back on another date?

We have no firm plans to return to the Imperial campus in 2026. If you cannot make this date then you could always send a friend on your behalf so you don't  miss out on the discount.

I go to a different university, can I attend?

This event is for Imperial College students only. However, if you would like to see something similar at your University, why not reach out to your Student Union and suggest it!
