Gowns

Your gown size is based on your height only (head to toe). The gowns are unisex and loose fitting as they are designed to fit over the top of your clothing.

We would recommend the following sizes:

XS: recommended for those with a height of 5 feet 2 inches (157 cm) and below

Small: recommended for those with a height of 5 feet 3 inches (158 cm) to 5 feet 5 inches (165 cm)

Medium: recommended for those with a height of 5 feet 6 inches (166 cm) to 5 feet 7 inches (170 cm)

Large: recommended for those with a height of 5 feet 8 inches (171 cm) to 5 feet 10 inches (178 cm)

XL: recommended for those with a height of 5 feet 11 inches (179 cm) to 6 feet 1 inch (185 cm)

XXL: recommended for those with a height of 6 feet 2 inches (186 cm) and above

Caps

Mortarboard and bonnet sizes are based on the circumference of the wearer’s head measured around the widest part of the head, just above the eyebrows.

All Churchill Gowns caps have a soft skull and adjustable elastic allowing for some flexibility in sizing, but if you are on the cusp between two sizes we suggest choosing the larger size.

We recommend the following sizes:

Small: recommended for those with a head circumference of 52 cm (20 inches) and below

Medium: recommended for those with a head circumference of 53 cm (20.5 inches) to 55 cm (21.5 inches)

Large: recommended for those with a head circumference of 56 cm (22 inches) to 58 cm (23 inches)

XL: recommended for those with a head circumference of 59 cm (23.5 inches) to 62 cm (24 inches)

XXL: recommended for those with a head circumference of 63 cm (24.5 inches) and above

Hoods

All hoods are one size fits all.
